do you have any bitterness towards style shippers? since you mentioned you don’t like shippers that harass other shippers

nah. I have bitterness towards assholes that make a habit outta harassin other ppl— i don’t care whether if they ship style or not. That’s not to say I don’t notice the majority (or at least a vocal percentage) of style shippers tend to be antagonistic towards kyman shippers. So, I am wary when I come across someone who says they like style. but in my experience, there are many styles who also ship kyman or are just chill.

I’d much rather come across someone who ships style and we simply agree to disagree, and talk about other aspects of the show, because there’s so much to appreciate and laugh abt sp. Or, happily discuss our point of view!

A journal asked me to review a paper. It's a theory paper, and it's 22 pages long. That's inhumane. That's about half the length of my dissertation.

So yeah, ok, I'm late submitting my referee report. I think this is a pretty valid excuse.

So because one of my readers sent me edits like 2 weeks before my defense, I am going to have to talk to the person about formatting again 🤬🙄 Like honestly this is so uncool. But to be fair there were errors and now they’ll be fixed. Still annoyed. I refuse to look up more works at this point, like come on. Proofreading is one thing but adding stuff is just such a pain at this point 😩

Another example of the nonsense I have to deal with from my advisor: while reading my conclusion, he asked me "shouldn't you put full citation details in the first footnote?"

I am using Chicago NB style and have been since I gave him my first chapter more than a year ago. And no, that style (a very standard one in theology) does not require full citation details in the footnote.

honestly seriously considering dropping out even though I’ve got hardly a month left of the official term because they keep adding stupid steps to the dissertation instead of actually letting us work on the fucking dissertation

Anyways fuck MLA format Chicago style is so much better and I hate that MLA is taught as the 'only correct' format because it's largely inconsequential if you're writing an actual dissertation.
